Associate Planner | York | Planning Consultancy

I'm currently working with a highly respected planning consultancy in York that is looking to appoint an Associate Planner to join its growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced planner looking to take on a leadership role within a collaborative and ambitious consultancy. You'll be joining a business with an excellent reputation across the region, working on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, mixed-use, heritage and strategic land projects.

As an Associate, you'll play a key role in managing complex planning projects, building and maintaining client relationships, mentoring junior planners and supporting the continued growth of the business. This position would suit someone who enjoys combining technical planning expertise with leadership and business development.

The ideal candidate will have:

• MRTPI qualification
• Extensive planning experience within a consultancy environment
• Strong project management and client-facing skills
• Experience leading planning applications, appeals and strategic planning advice
• A commercial mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities
• A passion for mentoring and developing junior members of the team
