A local authority client in the South East of England is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Enforcement Officer to join their team on an initial 3-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

The Role
- Managing a varied caseload of planning enforcement investigations.
- Investigating alleged breaches of planning control and assessing expediency.
- Preparing and serving enforcement notices, breach of condition notices, planning contravention notices, and other formal action where appropriate.
- Negotiating resolutions with landowners, developers, and agents.
- Conducting site visits and providing professional enforcement advice to colleagues and stakeholders.
- Working independently while contributing to an experienced planning enforcement team.
