The Role
As a Town Planner, you'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use and strategic land developments. Typical responsibilities include:
- Preparing and managing planning applications.
- Providing planning advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Liaising with local authorities, consultants and project teams.
- Conducting site appraisals and planning policy research.
- Preparing reports, planning statements and supporting documentation.
- Assisting with planning appeals and negotiations where required.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership (preferred but not essential).
- Experience within either the public or private sector.
- Good understanding of the UK planning system.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive and professional approach to work.
