The Role
As a Graduate Town Planner, you'll work alongside experienced planners on a variety of residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic development projects. From day one, you'll gain valuable experience across the planning process while developing your technical and client-facing skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
- Supporting the production of planning statements and reports.
- Conducting planning policy and site research.
- Liaising with local authorities, clients and external consultants.
- Monitoring planning applications and project progress.
- Attending client meetings, site visits and public consultations where required.
What We're Looking For
- A degree (or postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related discipline accredited by the RTPI.
- A genuine interest in UK planning and development.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
