Graduate Town Planner
Salary: £25,000–£26,000 per annum

Are you a recent graduate looking to start your career in Town Planning? We're seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join our growing team in the Northampton area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a variety of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments while working alongside experienced planners. You'll receive structured mentoring, support towards MRTPI status, and excellent opportunities for career progression.
The Role
You'll support the planning team by:

Assisting with planning applications and appeals.

Preparing planning statements, reports, and supporting documents.

Undertaking planning policy and site research.

Liaising with clients, local authorities, and project teams.

Attending meetings and supporting senior planners on a range of projects.
About You

Degree qualified (or graduating soon) in Town Planning or an RTPI-accredited related discipline.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Enthusiastic, organised, and eager to build a career in planning.

A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
