An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planner to join a respected and well-established private planning consultancy in London.

This is an excellent role for a planner looking to develop their career within a collaborative team, working on a varied portfolio of projects across the residential, commercial, mixed-use and regeneration sectors.

The Role

You will be involved in all aspects of the planning process, including:

• Preparing and managing planning applications.
• Undertaking site appraisals and planning research.
• Producing planning statements and supporting reports.
• Liaising with clients, local planning authorities and external consultants.
• Assisting with planning appeals and development strategy.
• Keeping up to date with planning legislation and policy.
• Supporting senior colleagues on a diverse range of projects while managing your own workload.

About You

To be considered, you should have:

• A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• RTPI membership or be working towards chartership.
• Previous experience within a private planning consultancy or local authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• A proactive approach and a genuine interest in delivering high-quality planning advice.
