The Opportunity

As a Planner, you'll play a key role in delivering planning advice across a wide range of developments, working closely with clients, local authorities, architects, and technical consultants. You'll be involved throughout the planning process, from initial site appraisals through to securing planning permission.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning applications and supporting documentation.
• Undertake site appraisals and planning research.
• Liaise with local planning authorities, clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality planning reports and planning statements.
• Attend client meetings, committee meetings, and public consultations where required.
• Monitor changes in planning legislation and policy.
• Support senior colleagues on larger and more complex projects while managing your own workload.

About You

We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or developer.
• A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• MRTPI qualification, or you're actively working towards chartership.
• Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• A full UK driving licence is desirable.
