An established and highly regarded independent planning consultancy is looking to appoint chartered Planners through to Associate Director-level professionals to join its growing Banbury office.
The consultancy has built an outstanding reputation for delivering planning advice on complex and high-profile projects nationwide, acting for developers, landowners, housebuilders, corporations, and private clients across a wide range of sectors.
The team specialises in managing contentious and strategic planning matters, coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, and driving schemes through the planning process from inception to determination and appeal.
The Role
You will work on a varied portfolio of projects involving:
- Strategic land promotion
- Major residential and commercial developments
- Planning applications and appeals
- Local plan representations
- Client and stakeholder engagement
- Project coordination across multidisciplinary teams
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced planning professionals on significant schemes while contributing to the continued growth of the business.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- MRTPI qualification
- Previous private sector planning consultancy experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
- The ability to manage projects and work collaboratively within a team
- A proactive and positive mindset with strong attention to detail
