This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planning professional to work across a broad portfolio of projects spanning commercial, healthcare, heritage, retail, leisure, residential, and public sector developments. The company has established a strong reputation for delivering commercially focused planning advice and securing successful outcomes for clients nationwide.
The successful candidate will take a leading role in managing planning applications and appeals, preparing planning strategies, liaising with local authorities and stakeholders, and supporting junior team members. The position offers genuine career progression within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Town Planning or related discipline
- MRTPI Chartered status preferred
- Several years’ experience within a private consultancy or local authority environment
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
- Excellent report writing, project management, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
