The Role
As an Assistant Town Planner, you’ll be working closely with experienced planning professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
- Conducting site appraisals and planning research
- Supporting senior team members with project delivery
- Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders
- Contributing to planning strategy and development proposals
About You:
- Degree (and ideally MSc) in Town Planning or a related discipline
- Working towards (or keen to work towards) MRTPI accreditation
- Some relevant planning experience (public or private sector)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and commercially aware mindset
