An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Junior or Graduate Planner to join a growing and dynamic planning consultancy based in Cirencester. This role is ideal for someone at the early stages of their planning career who is eager to gain hands-on experience, develop their expertise, and work on a diverse range of projects across the UK.
You will be supported by an experienced team, receiving ongoing guidance and training while gradually taking ownership of your own projects. This is a fantastic chance to build your skills in planning applications, appeals, and client engagement within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
- Support senior planners in managing key client accounts
- Undertake site appraisals, feasibility studies, and planning assessments
- Provide clear and well-researched planning advice to clients
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and systems
About You
- Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (or currently in your final year)
- Strong interest in planning policy and development management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail with the ability to work independently
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and committed to professional development
