An exciting opportunity is available for a Graduate Planner to join a leading multi-disciplinary property consultancy in London, starting in September 2026. This role offers an excellent platform to begin your career in planning within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The Role
As part of a structured graduate programme, you will gain exposure not only to planning but also to other key areas of the property sector, including building consultancy, residential, and commercial services. This provides a well-rounded understanding of how planning integrates within the wider development process, supporting your journey towards RTPI chartership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the preparation of feasibility studies, planning applications, and appeals
  • Assisting with policy representations and research tasks
  • Liaising with planning officers, clients, and external stakeholders
  • Attending meetings, planning committees, and public consultations
  • Undertaking a variety of planning duties as directed by senior team members

Why Apply?

  • Structured graduate programme with cross-disciplinary experience
  • Strong support towards achieving RTPI chartership
  • Collaborative and inclusive working culture
  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements
  • Competitive benefits package including:
    • 30 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), including a wellbeing day and birthday leave
    • Private healthcare and cashback health scheme
    • Gym membership contribution
    • Cycle to work scheme
    • Life assurance
    • Enhanced parental leave policies
    • Contribution towards home working setup

About You

  • A degree in planning or a related discipline (or expected completion by 2026)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks
  • Good research and analytical skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT proficiency

Previous planning experience is desirable but not essential.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to kick-start their career within a supportive and well-established consultancy environment.
