Are you an experienced Development Planner ready to play a key role in shaping one of London’s most ambitious regeneration programmes? I’m working with a highly respected urban regeneration delivery organisation in East London that is looking to appoint a Senior Development Planner to support its expanding portfolio.

The Role
As a Senior Development Planner, you’ll sit within a dynamic, multidisciplinary development team and take a leading role in managing planning strategy and delivery across a diverse pipeline of projects.
You will:
- Lead on planning applications for major residential and mixed-use schemes
- Provide strategic planning advice across multiple development sites
- Manage relationships with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
- Support land promotion and site acquisition strategies
- Navigate complex policy, viability, and delivery challenges
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practice
About You
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical planning knowledge with a commercial mindset and a passion for placemaking.
You will ideally have:
- Significant experience in development planning (public or private sector)
- Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale schemes
- Strong understanding of the London planning system and policy landscape
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- RTPI accreditation (or working towards it)
