An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a highly regarded, independent planning consultancy with a strong presence across London

I’m currently working with a well-established and growing firm known for delivering commercially focused planning advice across a wide range of sectors. This consultancy has built an excellent reputation for securing permissions on complex and high-profile developments, working with developers, landowners, and private clients.

The Role

As a Town Planner, you’ll be involved in a diverse portfolio of projects, supporting senior team members while also taking ownership of your own schemes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
  • Conducting site appraisals and planning research
  • Liaising with local authorities, clients, and external consultants
  • Supporting project delivery across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes
  • Contributing to planning strategies and reports

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related field
  • Working towards MRTPI (or recently achieved)
  • Experience within a consultancy, local authority, or developer environment
  • Strong report writing and communication skills
