Are you passionate about place making and creating great places for people to live, work and visit? We are looking for a career grade Senior/Principal Regeneration Officer to join our Regeneration Service.
This role will provide the opportunity to help deliver Fareham’s exciting regeneration vision.
The role will be focused on the delivery of a masterplan, alongside public realm and physical town centre improvement projects. This will include procurement and management of external consultants as well as engaging with key stakeholders, partners, local businesses and residents.
We are looking for someone who can think creatively and has previous experience in a built environment profession such as regeneration, planning, urban design, property, asset management etc, delivering projects, including small scale development projects.
You will have a qualification in a regeneration related discipline (planning, urban design, architect, asset management, property) and you will need to be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
The role requires the ability to build strong relationships with key public sector partners, businesses, communities and residents to promote town centre regeneration proposals, and provide support across the Council to help deliver projects for the successful regeneration of Fareham Town Centre. You will have a customer orientated approach along with excellent communication, project management, budget management, negotiation and financial administration skills.
