We are currently working with a well-established planning consultancy in Gloucestershire who are looking to appoint a Town Planner as part of their continued growth.
This is a great opportunity for a planner at graduate, assistant, or intermediate level (experience-dependent) to join a respected firm handling a diverse portfolio of planning projects across the region.
The Role
- Preparing and managing planning applications from start to finish
- Providing planning advice to private and commercial clients
- Liaising with local planning authorities and key stakeholders
- Assisting with appeals, site appraisals, and policy research
- Supporting senior planners on larger or more complex schemes
The Ideal Candidate
- Degree-qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
- Working towards or holding RTPI accreditation
- Experience in consultancy or local authority planning (preferred, not essential)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of the UK planning system
- Proactive, organised, and commercially aware
