As a specialist planning recruiter, I’m currently working with a well-established planning consultancy based in Newcastle upon Tyne who are looking to add a Planner / Senior Planner to their growing team.

The Role
You’ll be involved in a varied workload, including:
- Preparing and managing planning applications
- Providing planning advice to clients and stakeholders
- Supporting or leading on appeals and local plan work
- Liaising with local authorities and consultants
- Contributing to business development and client relationships (senior level)
The role can be tailored depending on experience, from Graduate/Planner through to Senior Planner.
About You
My client is keen to speak with candidates who have:
- A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
- MRTPI (or working towards it)
- Experience in either consultancy or local authority planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive and commercially aware mindset
