Senior / Principal / Associate Planner
Location: Winchester | Hybrid
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
An award-winning independent town planning consultancy is seeking Senior, Principal, and Associate Planners to join its growing Winchester-based team. The role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-profile projects across the UK, advising both public and private sector clients.
You will be involved in delivering planning solutions across multiple consenting regimes, with exposure to complex and varied workstreams in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and contributing to a range of planning projects
- Advising clients across public and private sector developments
- Preparing planning applications, reports, and technical submissions
- Supporting or leading project delivery depending on seniority
- Liaising with stakeholders, local authorities, and project teams
- Contributing to business development and team growth (senior levels)
About You
- Degree or Master’s in Town Planning or a related discipline
- Chartered RTPI member or eligible to apply
- Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in consultancy, local authority, or development roles
- Experience in EIA, objection management, or expert witness work is advantageous
