Planning Director
Location: London | Hybrid
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
The Role
A national planning, urbanism, and development consultancy is seeking a Planning Director to lead and grow its London presence. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape and expand a London-based planning offer, build a strong regional team, and drive business growth.
You will be responsible for originating new work, strengthening client relationships, and delivering commercially focused planning outcomes across the London and Southeast markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and expanding the London planning team
- Originating and securing new instructions
- Managing key client relationships and growing an existing network
- Overseeing and delivering complex planning and development proposals
- Contributing to the wider strategic growth of the business
About You
- Extensive experience in the London and Southeast planning markets
- Strong, well-established professional network
- Proven expertise in managing planning strategies and development proposals
- Chartered Member of the RTPI (preferred)
- Commercially astute with strong leadership skills
