Graduate Planner

We are working with a number of planning consultancies across the UK who are looking to recruit Graduate Planners to support their continued growth.
These roles are ideal for candidates who have completed, or are soon to complete, an MSc in Planning (or a related RTPI-accredited degree) and are looking to begin their career in private sector planning consultancy.
The Role
As a Graduate Planner within consultancy, you’ll work alongside experienced planners on a wide range of development-led projects. You’ll gain exposure to residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic development schemes, while building the foundations required to progress towards MRTPI chartership.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications
- Assisting with planning statements, design and access statements, and appeals
- Undertaking site appraisals, planning research, and policy analysis
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities
- Providing project support to senior and associate planners
About You
- MSc in Town Planning / Spatial Planning (or similar) – completed or due to complete shortly
- Strong interest in working within planning consultancy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, organised, and commercially aware
- Full right to work in the UK
