We are currently working with a well-respected planning consultancy based in Crawley that is looking to appoint a Chartered Planner (MRTPI) as part of its continued growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planner who is looking for high-quality project exposure, a supportive team environment, and the chance to develop their career within an established and reputable consultancy serving the South East.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a varied workload covering residential, commercial, and mixed-use development, supporting private sector clients across Crawley, West Sussex, and the wider South East. The role offers a good balance of responsibility and support, making it ideal for someone keen to consolidate and build on their chartered experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing planning applications, appeals, and pre-application submissions
- Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients
- Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and project teams
- Undertaking site appraisals and planning research
- Supporting senior colleagues on more complex schemes
About You
- MRTPI qualified
- Experience within a planning consultancy or a commercially focused local authority role
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Well organised, proactive, and client focused
