Town Planning Consultant
Location: Devon / South West (hybrid working available)
An established and respected planning consultancy in Devon is seeking a Town Planning Consultant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Town Planning Consultant who wants to work on a diverse range of development projects across the South West.
The successful Town Planning Consultant will play a key role in advising clients, managing planning applications, and helping to secure planning permissions through strong strategy and negotiation.
As a Town Planning Consultant, you will:
·Provide professional planning advice to private clients, landowners and developers
·Prepare, submit and manage planning applications and appeals
·Undertake planning policy analysis, site appraisals and development strategy work
·Liaise and negotiate with local planning authorities and key stakeholders
·Support the delivery of high-quality outcomes across varied project types
About You
·Experience working as a Town Planning Consultant or in a similar planning role
·Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and development management
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·Ability to manage your own caseload and work collaboratively within a small team
·RTPI accreditation (or working towards) is preferred
