Experienced Town Planners – Multiple Locations Across the UK

Location: Nationwide (Hybrid / Flexible Working Available)
Level: Senior Planner, Principal Planner & Associate
Salary: Competitive + benefits (DOE)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We are seeking experienced Town Planners to join a growing planning team working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK. Opportunities are available at Senior, Principal and Associate level, with roles suited to both private consultancy and local authority backgrounds.

About the Role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality planning advice and managing complex planning applications across residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic development projects. Depending on experience, responsibilities may include project leadership, client engagement, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and delivering planning applications, appeals and pre-application advice
  • Providing expert planning advice to clients, stakeholders and colleagues
  • Leading or contributing to major development projects
  • Engaging with local authorities, consultees and the public
  • Supporting policy work, site appraisals and development strategies
  • Mentoring and supporting junior planners (senior roles)

About You

  • Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related discipline
  • MRTPI (or working towards for Senior level)
  • Proven experience within UK planning (consultancy or local authority)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and policy framework
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
