This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional with around 1-3 years’ experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, knowledgeable and commercially focused environment.

The Role

As a Planner, you will work on a wide variety of projects across residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. The role offers genuine progression, strong professional exposure and the chance to work closely with clients, consultants and local authorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and submitting planning applications, statements and supporting documents

  • Undertaking site appraisals, policy research and feasibility assessments

  • Assisting with planning appeals and Local Plan representations

  • Liaising with clients, stakeholders and local planning authorities

  • Supporting senior colleagues on larger, more complex projects

  • Contributing to the delivery of high-quality planning advice

About You

We are seeking a motivated Planner who is eager to develop both professionally and commercially. You will bring:

  • Around 1-3 years’ experience in planning (consultancy, local authority or developer)

  • A relevant RTPI-accredited degree

  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good organisational ability and a proactive approach

  • MRTPI status or progress towards chartership (support provided)

Why Apply?

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • Clear progression opportunities within a well-regarded consultancy

  • Supportive team atmosphere with strong professional development

  • Exposure to a wide range of projects from early feasibility to determination

  • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements

  • Excellent track record of staff retention and internal career growth

This is a great opportunity for a Planner who wants to take the next step in their career within a thriving and respected planning consultancy.
