Salary: £45,427 – £48,691 (including £5,000 market supplement)
Location: Fleet, Hampshire
Working arrangements: Hybrid (Up to 80% home working)

Hays is excited to be working with Hart District Council to recruit a Senior Policy Planner at a pivotal moment in the authority’s planning journey. Hart is about to commence the development of its new Local Plan under the revised plan-making system, making this a particularly exciting time for a skilled planning professional to join the team and help shape the future of the district.

What you will bring
- Hart is seeking a motivated and capable planning policy professional with relevant post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate will have:
- Good understanding of planning legislation, policy, and emerging national reforms
- Experience leading planning projects and providing policy advice
- Strong communication, research, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive and customer-focused approach
- Experience of working collaboratively across teams
- Confidence in presenting at public meetings and contributing to consultations
