The Role
As a Senior Town Planner, you will take responsibility for leading and delivering planning projects across a wide range of sectors, with a strong commercial focus. You will work directly with clients, manage applications from inception through to decision, and support junior team members while contributing to wider business growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing, managing, and submitting planning applications, appeals, and planning statements

Leading site appraisals, policy reviews, and feasibility assessments

Providing commercially astute planning advice to clients

Managing and developing client relationships

Coordinating with local authorities, stakeholders, and external consultants

Supporting the mentoring and development of junior planners

Contributing to the delivery of high-quality planning solutions across multiple sectors
About You
We are looking for a confident and commercially aware Senior Town Planner who can work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
Requirements:

RTPI-accredited degree and MRTPI status (or close to submission)

3-5 years’ experience within planning consultancy or a commercially focused planning role

Strong understanding of the UK planning system and development process

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
-
Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities
-
Full UK driving licence preferred
