Town Planner – Cambridge
Location: Cambridge** | Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (DOE)** | Type: Permanent, Full-time
Are you an experienced Town Planner looking to join a respected consultancy working on one of the most significant mixed-use developments in the Cambridge region?
We’re partnering with a leading planning and development consultancy that’s delivering some of the UK’s most ambitious regeneration and infrastructure projects. Their Cambridge team continues to expand and is seeking a talented Town Planner to support a growing portfolio of high-profile work — including a transformative, large-scale development in the south of the city.

Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and managing a range of planning applications and appeals.
- Conducting site appraisals, policy reviews, and planning research.
- Supporting the preparation of planning statements and design documents.
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Assisting in the delivery of large-scale strategic and mixed-use projects.
About You
- A degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or a related subject.
- MRTPI qualified or working toward chartered status.
- Solid understanding of UK planning policy and development processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive approach and a genuine passion for creating sustainable, well-designed places.
