We’re working with an award-winning consultancy that’s seeking an ambitious Planner to join their expanding Glasgow team. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver clear, high-quality planning advice, reports, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Develop planning strategies and coordinate effectively with clients, project teams, and technical consultants.
- Manage and negotiate planning applications, appeals, and representations through all relevant stages.
- Produce Planning Statements, appraisals, and supporting documents to inform project delivery.
- Stay up to date with evolving planning legislation, policy, and design guidance to provide accurate and informed advice.
About you:
- RTPI-accredited planner with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in delivering planning advice on major developments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in client-facing and public engagement settings.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently, acting as the main point of contact for clients when required.
- Experienced in collaborating with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence and willing to travel for site visits or client meetings.
