The Role
As a Town Planner, you’ll assist in delivering planning consultancy services to a wide client base. You’ll be involved in all aspects of planning, including appraisals, applications, appeals, and local plan representations. Working as part of a close knit and growing team, you’ll contribute to delivering successful outcomes for both private and public sector clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and supporting documents

Undertake site appraisals and planning research

Prepare planning statements and design and access statements

Liaise with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders

Provide general planning advice under the guidance of senior colleagues

Contribute to business development and client relationship management

Support senior staff with larger and more complex projects
About You
We’re looking for a motivated and commercially aware Town Planner with a passion for delivering quality planning solutions. You’ll be confident, organised, and eager to grow within a consultancy environment that values collaboration and personal development.
Requirements:

Degree and/or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or related discipline

MRTPI-qualified or working towards Chartership
-
1-3 years of planning experience, ideally within consultancy or local authority

Strong understanding of the UK planning system

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage time effectively and work to deadlines
-
A proactive, team oriented attitude with attention to detail
