Policy Planner/Principal Policy Officer - West Midlands
£45-£50 per hour (umbrella) - 3-month rolling contract - Flexible/Remote working
A Local Authority in the West Midlands is looking for an experienced Policy Planner to join their growing team. This role offers flexibility to suit your level; it could be part-time on a project basis or full-time at Principal Officer level.
The Role
You’ll support the delivery of key planning projects, with a focus on site appraisals, strategic land viability, and Local Plan progress. The team are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, bring technical expertise, and add real value from day one.
About You
You’ll have a solid background in spatial planning and policy development, be confident working independently, and be comfortable engaging with colleagues and stakeholders to move projects forward.
