Planning Officer - South East England
£40/hour - 3-month contract - Full-time, Hybrid working
A Local Authority based in the South East of England is seeking a Planning Officer to join their Development Management team, focusing on a caseload of householder and smaller-scale applications.
What You’ll Do
- Manage planning applications, pre-apps, and other smaller-scale applications
- Determine cases in line with national and local policy, legislation, and neighbourhood plans
- Ensure decisions meet statutory deadlines
- Contribute to other Planning Service tasks as required
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in Development Management, preferably with householder/smaller applications
- Knowledge of planning legislation and policy
- Ability to manage a caseload efficiently
