Senior Town Planner – Bristol Office (£35k - £40k)
We are recruiting on behalf of a multidisciplinary consultancy operating at the forefront of the built environment sector. Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Town Planner to join their well-established planning team in the Bristol office.

Salary: £35k - £40k
About the Role:
As a Senior Town Planner, you’ll lead a diverse portfolio of planning projects, providing strategic guidance to clients and overseeing applications from inception through to approval. This role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative and supportive team, where your expertise will play a key role in driving project success and delivering impactful, high-quality planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and coordinate a varied caseload of planning applications across both public and private sectors.
· Provide informed, professional advice on planning and development matters.
· Engage effectively with local authorities, clients, and key stakeholders to progress projects smoothly.
· Support the development of junior colleagues through mentoring and guidance.
· Keep abreast of evolving planning policy, legislation, and local development frameworks.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise:
· Hold an RTPI accredited degree or similar relevant degree.
· Ideally a chartered member of the RTPI or working towards.
· Good knowledge of the UK planning system with experience in planning practice.
· Preferably private sector experience, but not essential.
