Senior Town Planner / Associate Town Planner – Cardiff
Location: Cardiff (Hybrid Working – 3 days in office, 2 days from home)
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (DOE)

Are you an experienced Town Planner looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-renowned nationwide town planning consultancy, is seeking a Senior or Associate Town Planner to join their Cardiff office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the biggest and most exciting projects in Wales, across sectors including residential, commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure, and regeneration. You’ll be joining a highly respected team that’s passionate about delivering high-quality planning advice and shaping great places.

The Role:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of planning projects from inception to delivery

  • Prepare and submit planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals

  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and key stakeholders

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior planners

  • Contribute to business development and client relationships

About You:

  • MRTPI qualified (or equivalent level of experience)

  • Strong understanding of UK planning policy and legislation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Confident managing projects and clients independently

  • Team player with a proactive and solution-focused approach
