Location: Manchester

The Role:
As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a pivotal role in managing a wide variety of planning projects and supporting clients through all stages of the planning process. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and submitting planning applications, appeals, and development appraisals

  • Managing client relationships and liaising with local authorities and key stakeholders

  • Undertaking site appraisals and preparing planning reports and statements

  • Providing strategic planning advice to clients

  • Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team

  • Contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining client relationships

About You:

  • MRTPI qualified (or working towards chartership)

  • 4–7 years of planning experience, ideally within consultancy or a development led environment

  • Strong understanding of planning policy, legislation, and the UK planning system

  • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

  • Confident, commercially minded, and motivated by career progression
