Are you an ambitious Town Planner ready to step into a Senior Planner role? Looking for a consultancy that offers responsibility, flexibility, and real progression?
We’re working with a well-established and growing planning consultancy based in Birmingham, known for its collaborative culture and diverse range of projects. With a strong pipeline across the residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors, they’re looking to bring in a Senior Planner to support and lead on key developments across the Midlands.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a planner with around 3–5 years of experience who’s looking to take the next step in a supportive, professional environment.
🔍 The Role:

Prepare and manage planning applications and appeals

Provide strategic advice to clients and stakeholders
-
Attend site visits, client meetings, and public consultations
-
Support junior team members and collaborate with senior staff

Keep up to date with policy changes and local plan developments
✅ What We’re Looking For:

MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
-
3–5 years’ experience in planning (consultancy or local authority)

Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, particularly in the Midlands
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Proactive, organised, and commercially aware
