Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected planning consultancy in their search for a Senior Planning Consultant to join their expanding Dublin office.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-regarded practice that delivers innovative and commercially focused planning solutions across sectors including residential, commercial, infrastructure, healthcare, and renewable energy.

The Role
As a Senior Planning Consultant, you will:

• Lead on a variety of planning projects from inception through to delivery

• Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and appraisals

• Provide expert planning advice to clients and stakeholders

• Contribute to business development and client relationship management

• Mentor and support junior members of the team

• Engage with local authorities and third parties to deliver successful outcomes

About You

• An RTPI or IPI accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning (or related subject)

• 5+ years of post-qualification planning experience (preferably in consultancy)

• Strong working knowledge of Irish planning policy and legislation

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills

• Commercially minded with the ability to manage client relationships effectively

• A proactive, ambitious individual keen to develop their career in a growing consultancy
