The Role
As a Senior Planner, you will:

Lead and manage a wide range of planning projects, from initial appraisals to application and appeal stage.

Provide expert advice to clients across residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes.

Undertake site assessments, policy reviews, and planning research.

Prepare and submit high-quality planning applications, appeals, and supporting documentation.
-
Engage with local planning authorities, stakeholders, and communities.
-
Mentor and support junior colleagues, helping to grow the team’s capability.
About You
We are looking for a motivated planning professional who can demonstrate:

A degree and/or master’s in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited).

MRTPI Chartered membership (or working towards Chartership).
-
3–6 years’ experience in planning consultancy or local authority.
-
Excellent report-writing, negotiation, and communication skills.

A commercial mindset with the ability to manage client relationships.
