Senior Planning Enforcement Officer
- Hampshire | Hybrid (site visits + 1 day/week in office)

- Rate: £35–£50/hour (DOE) | IR35 status TBC (likely in scope)
I’m working with a proactive and well-regarded local authority in Hampshire, is seeking an experienced Senior Planning Enforcement Officer to support their busy enforcement team. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a varied caseload and contribute to maintaining planning compliance across the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigate alleged breaches of planning control
- Conduct site visits and gather evidence
- Prepare reports and correspondence, including enforcement notices
- Liaise with internal departments, legal teams, and external stakeholders
- Provide expert advice on enforcement matters and attend committee or appeal hearings as required
Requirements:
- Strong experience in planning enforcement within an LPA
- Good working knowledge of relevant legislation and enforcement procedures
- Confident in managing a varied caseload independently
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills
- Full UK driving licence (for site visits)

- Duration: 3–6 months
