Have you completed a Town Planning related Masters and gained 6+ months professional Town Planning experience either through a placement, internship or some work experience?
I am collaborating closely with a highly regarded boutique planning consultancy based in Central London. They are in search of a Graduate Town Planner to join their team, where you'll have the opportunity to consult on a diverse range of major projects, spanning the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
You could enjoy working with a collaborative team, where you will be offered close mentorship from successful Directors keen to promote and reward for strong performances. Upon joining, you'll be thrust into a dynamic work environment with a substantial workload, providing you with the chance to excel.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with projects and overseeing smaller development management processes, and assisting senior colleagues on more major developments.
- Cultivating and maintaining client relationships by offering precise advice and effective communication on a regular basis.
- Managing pre-application tasks and guiding planning applications through the development cycle.
- Writing representations to local authorities for potential site promotions.
Ideally, you should possess:
- Ideally 6+ months of professional planning experience, preferably within consultancy, although local planning authority (LPA) experience will be considered.
- A strong skill set and expertise in development management.
- Ideally working towards your RTPI APC.
- Excellent written communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
