Our client, is currently seeking a Principal Planner on a contract basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex and large-scale development projects and will be responsible for signing off delegated reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing detailed and strategic development proposals from inception to completion
- Reviewing and signing off delegated reports
- Providing expert advice on development management
- Conducting site visits and assessments as required
- Ensuring compliance with relevant planning regulations and legislation
- Representing the organisation in meetings and public consultations
- Managing planning application processes and formal objections
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in development management and town planning
- Significant experience dealing with complex and strategic developments
- Strong understanding of planning regulations and legislation
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritise effectively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in managing stakeholder relationships
- Relevant degree in town planning or related field
Work Arrangement:
- 6-month contract
- 38 hours per week
- Inside IR35
