Are you a driven and detail-oriented Town Planner ready to make your mark on a growing and supportive team? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established planning consultancy in Bedford that’s seeking a passionate professional to join their ranks.

Whether you're a recently chartered planner or looking to take the next step in your planning career, this role offers the perfect platform for professional development and hands-on project involvement across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

The Role:

As a Town Planner, you will:

• Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals.
• Conduct site appraisals and planning policy research.
• Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients.
• Contribute to major planning projects across Bedfordshire and the wider region.
• Work as part of a collaborative and friendly team with expert mentorship available.

 What We're Looking For:

• Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline (RTPI accredited preferred).
• Ideally 1–5 years’ experience in a similar role (private or public sector).
• Strong knowledge of UK planning policy and legislation.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• RTPI membership or working towards chartership is a bonus.
