FutureGen Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading, property-focused planning consultancy in South West London to appoint a Senior Town Planner to their growing team.

🏙️ The Role

As a Senior Planner, you’ll play a key role in delivering strategic and complex planning applications for residential, commercial, retail & leisure-led developments across Greater London and the South East. You’ll collaborate closely with land, development, and planning teams to help shape successful outcomes for planning proposals that are large and can be complex.

You’ll gain direct exposure to major planning projects and have regular contact with senior stakeholders. The role offers an excellent platform to grow both professionally and commercially, within a team that values quality, initiative, and collaboration.

✅ Candidate Profile

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about planning and looking to grow in a fast-paced and professional environment. Ideal candidates will have:

• Around 3 years’ experience in planning, ideally with some of that in a private consultancy or housebuilder environment.

• Either chartered MRTPI status or actively working towards it through the RTPI APC pathway.

• A solid understanding of the planning system, particularly within London and the South East.

• Confidence working with clients, consultants, and local authorities.

• Excellent communication, report writing, and project coordination skills.
