FutureGen Recruitment is working with a highly respected private planning consultancy in Sussex to find a Senior Town Planner to join their growing team. 🏗️ About the Role

As a Senior Planner, you'll play a key role in managing planning applications, appeals, site promotions, and development strategies for private sector clients. You’ll work closely with landowners, developers, and professional teams on a wide range of schemes—across residential, commercial, and mixed-use development.

This is a consultancy that values professionalism, attention to detail, and proactive engagement. You'll be working in a vibrant and well-established office that combines local insight with strategic thinking.

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Chartered Member of the RTPI (essential)

• Strong private sector experience in town planning consultancy

• Excellent communication, project management and report writing skills

• Proven ability to manage client relationships and planning strategies

• Confident in leading or supporting on a range of application types and project scales

• Able to commit to a 3-days in-office, 2-days remote hybrid working pattern
