The role will appeal to those seeking diverse project exposure, increased responsibility, and the chance to make a visible impact in a collaborative consultancy environment.

·Planning policy advice
·Preparation and submission of planning applications
·Pre-application negotiation and master planning
·Sustainability and environmental impact assessments
·Waste, water and renewable energy-related planning

As a Senior Planning Consultant, you will lead and manage environmental-based development projects, coordinate submissions, and act as a key client contact. You'll also provide expert guidance across internal teams and help support the professional development of junior colleagues.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
·BSc/MSc in Town Planning, Estate Management, Environmental or related fields
·Chartered or working toward MRTPI or similar
·Proven experience in consultancy, regulation, or public sector environments (ideally 5 years+)
·A strong track record in managing and delivering environmental development projects
·Working knowledge of environmental planning legislation and procedures
·Experience conducting desk-based research and site-based assessments

Personal Attributes:
·Strong technical planning knowledge
·Proven ability to work with a diverse range of clients

·Discretionary annual bonus
·Private health care
·Company pension scheme
·Support for professional memberships (e.g. RTPI, RICS)
·Festive closure and option to purchase additional holiday
·Cycle to Work scheme

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven planning or environmental professional who wants to step into a key role within a supportive and ambitious consultancy.
