Are you an experienced Planner looking to elevate your career in a dynamic, growing environment? We’re working in partnership with a respected organisation based in Birmingham, and they’re seeking a driven Senior Planner to help shape and deliver a range of high-impact projects.

The Role:
As a Senior Planner, you’ll be a key figure in the planning team—taking ownership of complex projects, guiding clients and colleagues, and helping to steer strategic planning direction. You’ll work across a diverse portfolio and be involved in both hands-on planning and high-level advice.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing and delivering planning applications, appeals, and development proposals
- Advising clients and internal teams on planning strategy and regulations
- Coordinating with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
- Contributing to business development through networking and client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior planning staff
- Staying ahead of policy updates and changes in legislation
Who We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in a planning role, ideally within the private sector or consultancy
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and policy framework
- RTPI Chartered (or working towards chartership)
- Confident communicator with strong report-writing and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, commercially aware, and collaborative in your approach
