About the Role:
Our client, a leading planning consultancy in Leeds, is seeking a qualified MRTPI Planner to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious planner to work on a diverse range of commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments across Yorkshire and beyond. You’ll be joining a supportive and dynamic team where your expertise will directly contribute to shaping strategic planning solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage planning applications from inception to decision

Provide strategic advice on planning policy, development management, and regeneration schemes

Prepare high-quality planning reports, statements, and appeals

Liaise with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients to achieve successful outcomes

Mentor junior planners and contribute to the development of the team
Requirements:

Full MRTPI accreditation
-
Proven experience in a planning consultancy or local authority environment

Strong understanding of UK planning legislation and development management

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
