We are representing a respected and forward-thinking consultancy in the recruitment of a Graduate Planner for their Norwich office. About the Role: As a Graduate Planner, you'll support the Norwich-based planning team in preparing and delivering planning applications and development strategies across a wide range of sectors. With hands-on experience and guidance, you'll gain the core competencies required to thrive in the planning profession.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the drafting of planning applications, pre-application enquiries, and appeals

Conduct planning research and assist in basic appraisals

Prepare reports, letters, and other documents under supervision

Undertake site visits and contribute to community engagement activities

Monitor and review Local Authority plans and relevant policy updates

Assist in preparing fee proposals and business development materials

Develop your technical knowledge through practical, on-the-job learning

Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders throughout the planning process

What We're Looking For:

A degree in Town Planning, Geography, or a related discipline (or working towards one)

Enthusiasm for planning and a proactive approach to learning

Clear and confident communication skills-written and verbal

A collaborative attitude and willingness to contribute to team goals

Organisational skills and the ability to manage your workload effectively
