Key Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing planning applications and supporting documents
- Conduct site assessments and research to gather relevant information
- Prepare and write planning reports, including policy and design statements
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders on planning matters
- Support senior planners in the preparation of development plans
- Keep up-to-date with changes to planning legislation and regulations
Key Requirements:- A degree in Town Planning or related discipline
- Membership (or working towards) of the RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning software tools
- A team player with a proactive and solutions-focused attitude
- A keen interest in planning policy and urban development
