We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established planning consultancy in Colchester seeking a motivated Town Planner to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across Essex and the South East.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals
- Providing strategic planning advice to clients
- Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants
- Conducting site appraisals and planning assessments
- Supporting project delivery from inception through to determination
Requirements:
- Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
- Previous experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or developer environment
- Strong report-writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
