Location: London

The Role
As a Graduate Transport Planner, you’ll support the team across a wide range of transport planning tasks, learning from experienced consultants and gaining hands-on project experience from day one. You’ll play a role in helping shape transport strategies and supporting planning applications for developments across London and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans

  • Supporting junction modelling, data analysis and transport surveys (training provided)

  • Helping prepare technical drawings, figures and plans

  • Conducting research on transport policy and planning guidance

  • Assisting with client communications and project coordination

  • Supporting senior team members on a variety of development and infrastructure projects

About You
The ideal Graduate Transport Planner will be eager to learn, analytically minded and passionate about transport, planning and the built environment.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, Planning or a related discipline

  • Strong analytical and numerical ability

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Good organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines

  • Familiarity with transport planning concepts (software training provided)

  • A proactive, positive and collaborative approach
